BC Student Voice holds two major meetings per year, in the fall and spring. Student representatives and their advisors attend from fifteen regions in the province.
Following the fall BCSV meeting, students return to their regions and host a regional meeting. At these meetings students discuss a common topic and collect data to provide feedback to the Ministry of Education.
This year the students responded to the following questions on CHOICE:
- What do you know about choices? (In your school, in the district, in the province)
- Ideas for an ideal school
- What are the pros and cons of being able to attend any school of your choice?
- Pros and cons of unlimited course offerings
